Julia's Graduation

I'm incredibly proud to share that I have recently graduated with First Class Honours from the University of the Arts London – London College of Communication, with a BA (Hons) in Illustration and Visual Media

When I first moved to London, I had no idea where this degree would take me. Over the last three years, LCC gave me the freedom to explore new ideas and experiment across a wide range of creative disciplines: from printmaking and publication design to conceptual practice, illustration, and installation. It encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone, develop my own way of thinking, and discover the kind of work I want to make.

One of the most valuable experiences during my final year was being part of the curation team and working on exhibitions. It gave me hands-on experience in exhibition planning, installation, and working collaboratively behind the scenes, skills that strengthened my passion for gallery work and prepared me for a career in the arts.

I'm so grateful to my tutors, friends, and everyone I met along the way for making this experience what it was.

Now, I'm excited for what's next. I'm looking forward to staying in London, continuing to learn, and starting my career in the art and gallery world.
