Śniadanie zjadłyśmy z widokiem na spektakularny King’s College. 

Pierwszy wykład był o samotności "Are we experiencing new global health crisis” moderowany przez Gordon Harold - Profesor of Psychology of Education and mental health University of Cambridge.

“This event brings together researchers from multiple disciplines to explore how loneliness is experienced at different life stages, why it’s rising in our increasingly connected world and the factors that drive it – including social media use, economic pressures and the erosion of social networks”.

 Hanię zainspirował i na ten temat napisze internala z matematyki! I o to chodzi - o inspiracje!

O 13.00 był lunch time concert (organy) w Trinity College. Przy okazji pozaglądałyśmy w różne studenckie kąty, trafiłyśmy nawet do baru! Żal było się stamtąd ruszać, ale spieszyłyśmy się na workshop „ Disagreeing well”. Bardzo praktyczny i przydatny. Zidentyfikowałyśmy jak podchodzimy do konfliktów i długo potem na ten temat rozmawiałyśmy, bo do The Centre for Law, Medicine and Life Sciences, gdzie miałyśmy kolejny wykład miałyśmy 30 minut na piechotę. Ale nudy po drodze nie było!

Tam wykład z serii Baron de Lancey Lecture, w tym roku wygłosił Professor Sir Ian Kennedy KC(hon), FBA, LLD.

"The Baron de Lancey Lecture brings a leading mind to Cambridge to dissect a contentious and cutting-edge topic in medical law and ethics. This year, Professor Sir Ian Kennedy will speak on “Autonomy in Healthcare”, revisiting arguments first advanced in his 1980 Reith Lectures on the power imbalance between clinicians and patients and the need to place patient autonomy at the centre of medical decision-making."

Było bardzo ciekawie, taki prawdziwy wykład Cambridgowski z profesorami i reception - eleganckie kanapeczki, wino i rozmowy o wykładzie.

Hania wybrała wykład w Emmanuel College „Are natural disasters inevitable? Insights from science and religion” by Robert White - Emeritus Professor of Geophysics at the University of Cambridge, Chair of Trustees at The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion, and President of Christians in Science.

Odebrałyśmy ją z Emmanuel College, pizza i spać.

Ale podczas pizzy - mało kreatywnie bo Margarita 😆 - zadziała się magia, która miała się zadziać i zwykle się dzieje. Asia, która do tej pory nie rozważała Cambridge zapytała - Czy mogłaby mi Pani powiedzieć co powinnam zrobić, żebym sama się sprawdziła na co mnie stać?
